Spicy Hummus
Hummus is one of our favorite snacks in our household. My husband and I love spicy hummus and my kids love garlic hummus. If we get out a container of hummus, its gone in one sitting in our house! This can get pretty pricey when it's eaten so quickly. This got me thinking... I need to figure out how to make this myself. And let me tell you, this is SO easy and SO delicious. It is smooth and creamy with a little kick. Perfect to dip crackers and veggies in.
The beauty of this hummus recipe is that is is flexible. Not a big spicy person? Skip the cayenne pepper! LOVE garlic? Add more! Or try roasting your garlic first. With this hummus you can add whatever herb or spice you are craving in the moment, and I love that!
I keep my pantry stocked with these items so if I am ever in need of a last minute appetizer, this is my go to!
And the best part is you just throw all the ingredients into a blender or food processor, and you are done! I use this blender, and we absolutely love it.
